About this variety
Picudo is a variety of great character grown mainly in Córdoba and Jaén, where it reaches its finest expression in the Priego de Córdoba PDO. Its oils display a complex and elegant green fruity profile, with notes of apple, green almond, fig tree and fresh grass, medium pungency and balanced bitterness. It is one of the most prized varieties among gourmet olive oil enthusiasts.
